Technicians Compete In PDR Olympics



The international Mobile Tech Expo hosted and co-sponsored a two-day Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Olympics during the show. Each competitor had 45 minutes to repair a dent. There were 32 contestants who fixed 57 dents. The top 13 winners and their prizes were:

  1. Simon Noel of Carrossier Expres, Canada: $1,000 cash prize; Golden Buddy tool from Dent Gear and PDRCoach; and 58-piece tool set valued at $1,900 from Dent Magic.
  2. Mark Tsurkis, owner of Hi-Tech Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) in Chicago: $500 cash prize and two sets of whaletails from Dent Magic.
  3. Vitaly (Roma) Dzhanashiya of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: $500 gift card from Dent Craft tools, one set of whaletails from dent Magic.
  4. Jared Gobrecht of National Dent Works in North Carolina: $250 cash
  5. Joel Valois of Carrossier Express, Canada: $400 gift card from Dent Gear.
  6. Vitaly Jentinir of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: PDQ Tools set with shirt valued at $600.
  7. Matt Rolfsmeyer of Zing-A-Ding in Wisconsin: 21-piece tool set from Blehm tools valued at $355.
  8. Richard Routson of DentMasters in Virginia: Mini light from Ultra Dent Tools valued at $200
  9. Matt Amick of Matt's Fix-a-Dent in Kentucky: PDR Coach five DVD video set of his choice
  10. Troy Tarpley of Dent Tricks in Georgia: Mini light 110V from Doording and Ricky Bayne.
  11. David Hutchinson of Dent Fix in North Carolina: Inventure interchangeable tool valued at $665.
  12. Vadim Varblane of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: Aluminum hail rod from Dent Hog plus $100 off toward interchangeable hail.
  13. Eduard Kodryan of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicgo: PDR Coach five DVD video set of his choice
