Technicians Compete In PDR Olympics
The international Mobile Tech Expo hosted and co-sponsored a two-day Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Olympics during the show. Each competitor had 45 minutes to repair a dent. There were 32 contestants who fixed 57 dents. The top 13 winners and their prizes were:
- Simon Noel of Carrossier Expres, Canada: $1,000 cash prize; Golden Buddy tool from Dent Gear and PDRCoach; and 58-piece tool set valued at $1,900 from Dent Magic.
- Mark Tsurkis, owner of Hi-Tech Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) in Chicago: $500 cash prize and two sets of whaletails from Dent Magic.
- Vitaly (Roma) Dzhanashiya of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: $500 gift card from Dent Craft tools, one set of whaletails from dent Magic.
- Jared Gobrecht of National Dent Works in North Carolina: $250 cash
- Joel Valois of Carrossier Express, Canada: $400 gift card from Dent Gear.
- Vitaly Jentinir of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: PDQ Tools set with shirt valued at $600.
- Matt Rolfsmeyer of Zing-A-Ding in Wisconsin: 21-piece tool set from Blehm tools valued at $355.
- Richard Routson of DentMasters in Virginia: Mini light from Ultra Dent Tools valued at $200
- Matt Amick of Matt's Fix-a-Dent in Kentucky: PDR Coach five DVD video set of his choice
- Troy Tarpley of Dent Tricks in Georgia: Mini light 110V from Doording and Ricky Bayne.
- David Hutchinson of Dent Fix in North Carolina: Inventure interchangeable tool valued at $665.
- Vadim Varblane of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicago: Aluminum hail rod from Dent Hog plus $100 off toward interchangeable hail.
- Eduard Kodryan of Hi-Tech PDR in Chicgo: PDR Coach five DVD video set of his choice
